Helena Crevar
Helena Crevar is a rising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) star with a remarkable ascent in the sport. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and began her BJJ training at eight. Later, she moved to Austin, Texas, to train under the legendary John Danaher at New Wave Jiu-Jitsu. Helena balances her homeschooling with intense training and is fully dedicated to the sport. Some of her notable accomplishments in BJJ include winning the IBJJF No-Gi World Championships in 2023 in the blue belt juvenile division with a 100% submission rate, as well as winning both the heavyweight and open class categories at the IBJJF Juvenile 1 Female Blue Belt World Championships in the same year. In 2023, she also made a successful debut at the Who’s Number One (WNO) event. Helena is ranked 10th globally in the women’s 145-pound division with a 7-0 professional record. She enjoys conducting seminars and creating instructional videos and aspires to open her gym in the future. Despite her intense training, she balances her education and social life, drawing inspiration from her coaches and top athletes. Known for her exceptional talent, dedication, and rapid rise in the sport, Helena has become a significant figure in the BJJ community.
